Today we are going to make a spoon. It’s the first tool we interact with as humans, and back in the day, you would have had your spoon that you would always eat with. It’s a great exercise in understanding the fundamentals of carving and to understand wood as a material, but also because it’s your spoon, it’s up to you to experiment with shape, size, proportion and colour to make it your own.
