Jewellery Workshop by Margherita Chinchio explores the process of melting metal and turning it into a solid one of a kind wearable piece of jewellery. You will experience pouring the liquid metal directly into small handmade shapes and moulds, achieving different potential outcomes. 

We will focus on the possibilities of creating simple jewellery and adornments using little equipment and non precious materials, adding little inclusions and playing with easy connections.

BIO DESIGNER

Margherita Chinchio is a multidisciplinary creative and maker based in Milan, whose practice spans from jewellery, objects and set design. In her studio she loves exploring different matter and techniques, blending together contaminations coming from graphic design, nature, fashion and theatre, often originating some sort of hybrids. She loves sharing know-how and she strongly believes in the importance of fostering a sense of community and a supportive and helpful approach among creatives.
