During this 2 day workshop series led by ceramics studio Rochester Square, students were taught slip casting techniques to form a series of terracotta pipes. These pipes were designed to be stacked to create a water sculpture for the STORE STORE Pavilion.
The students were guided through the steps of processing the clay, casting it, drying it and finishing the surfaces. The workshops formed part of our London Design Festival programme.
