We run PUBLIC WORKSHOPS in art, design and architecture. The purpose of our public workshops is to foster a community of makers. With more knowledge about the material world, people can live more sustainable lives and have greater agency in their material choices. The workshops we offer are varied – they’ve included bioplastic making, candle-dipping, and darning clothes – each workshop bringing new ideas and objects into your home. In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have moved many of these courses online.

Join us for a free One-Day Workshop run by Flimsy Studio. The workshop is part of a series exploring non-destructive design and transformation.Students will assemble a structure out of recycled material.

You are invited to our LDF launch of our After School Clubs and Summer School products over the past 5 months of STORE STORE. Encouraging and exposing alternative ways of learning, making and sharing.

Join us for a free after school club in July run by Tessa Silva. Using milk as a natural casting material, you will have the opportunity to design and make a series of vases. This is an opportunity for 10 state school students (age 15-18).

Join our Hackney Public Workshops and bring new ideas and objects into your home. STORE Public Workshops are guided by expert makers with all proceeds supporting our educational program for state school students.

In our online shop you will find a variety of homeware, accessories and furniture designed and made by both students from the After School Club and local makers based around the UK.

Join us for a STORE STORE x Rains Event! We’ll be exhibiting student work from the Recycled Rain Hats after school club. In the classes, students learnt about working with waste, pattern cutting and sewing and made rain hats from Rains production rejects.

In collaboration with exciting makers we have created a series of downloadable Makers Manuals for different things you can make at home.
