In the Chladni Bookends After School Club students were able to experiment with resonating different metal plates and observe how the patterns change. They then captured the moment when the pattern happens by casting on top of it with Jesmonite, “freezing” it into position. They explored colour schemes and made geometric bookends with their beautiful Chladni patterns engrained on their surfaces.
