Join us for a free After School Cub in November with Kimberley Cookey-Gam from Crochet Cookey. Students will learn how to make a balaclava, applying traditional techniques and sustainable materials into a contemporary wearable product. Together students will learn how to design, construct, pattern cut, stitch and customise a balaclava to their needs ready for Winter. All of the materials will be sourced locally.
These after school clubs are for state school students aged 15-18. These courses will be especially valuable for students who are considering applying to undergraduate architecture, design or art courses. Equally these courses are suitable for students interested in art, design and related subjects.
