Design and Deconstruction was a free after school club run by Flimsy Studio. The workshop explored how to design and make using non-destructive methods. Students breathed new life into a garden shed by transforming it into seating structures (before returning it back to a shed). They developed skills such as: furniture building, scale model-making, cataloguing materials, zero-waste design and deconstruction.
This is an opportunity for 15 state school students (age 15-18). This after school club is part of STORE STORE BUILD, a small scale building project run as a series of free after school clubs in architecture, engineering, urban ecology and construction.
