During this After School Club, led by digital artist Lucy Hardcastle, students were taught physical and digital imaging skills to develop an AR filter and zine. The young people were encouraged to imagine their future selves as designers and to design a tool to give them a superpower or skill that is yet to be made in the real world. They did this through digital modelling with plasticine, cardboard and foam and 3D scanning these to create digital moving images. They were then guided to use Blender to render their images and convert them into AR filters.
