Applied Objects for Observation was a free two day architecture and design course over the Easter break run by Yip Siu, with guest appearances from Bozo Island, Ajay Larr, Sarmad Suhail and Fibi Kung. Students designed and made tools for surveying the city and engaging with the community. The workshops encouraged the young designers to observe, catalogue and record their journeys, experiences and conversations.
This was an opportunity for 15 state school students (age 15-18). This after school club is part of STORE STORE BUILD, a small scale building project run as a series of free after school clubs in architecture, engineering, urban ecology and construction.
