Makers Manual is a collaborative project between exciting makers and STORE STORE. These downloadable manuals are a practical guide to making at home for beginners and experts.

This manual will introduce you to a method of making a Mask using mycelium – the root of mushrooms. Mycelium is a promising sustainable material as it consumes natural waste such as hemp or wood chips in order to grow, and it is also naturally biodegradable. The mycelium can be grown into any 3D shape, using different moulds, so you can create a variation of mask shapes.
