Makers Manual is a collaborative project between exciting makers and STORE STORE. These downloadable manuals are a practical guide to making at home for beginners and experts.

This manual offers a playful way to turn your old Levi’s jeans into something new. It’s written for anyone who likes the idea of recycling old fabrics, and shows how easy it is to get started giving new purpose to discarded clothes. All that’s required are some basic tools and a container to use as a mould, and you’ll finish up with a new object to use: a fruit bowl, waste-paper basket, pet bed or whatever else you can think of! The approach taken pushes the maker to think about value of discarded materials, fostering an experimental, hands-on approach.

Adrianus Kundert is a Dutch designer working on product and spatial design with an enthusiasm for basketry.
