Makers Manual is a collaborative project between exciting makers and STORE STORE. These downloadable manuals are a practical guide to making at home for beginners and experts.

 This manual documents the production of simple paper objects to understand the mechanical movements found in everyday objects like scissors. You can choose your favourite creature, and are free to choose the paper colour, to draw or paint it. Each creature uses some kind of rotational movement. The paper allows anyone to reproduce these creatures at home or in a classroom.

Camille and Céline are Paris-based designers, graduated from ENSCI Les Ateliers in Paris. They founded the design studio Super Solide. 

Their practice raises the question of the lifespan of everyday objects. Faced with the climate challenge, it seems urgent for them to slow down the use of our resources. As designers, they try to draw objects with less technology and materials, while keeping a quality of comfort adapted to our time. They want to propose a real Domestic Transition, with robust and desirable objects that lead us to a reasoned consumption but with still fun and attractive uses.
