This workshop taught the fundamentals of how to make a natural plastic-like material from cow’s milk.
The students were walked through the scientific processes of how to separate milk curds from whey by using an enzyme, how to use pigments to dye liquids, and how to sculpt the material into forms around a mould. The morning session saw the students design and then make individual key rings. The afternoon saw the students split into groups in order to collaborate on designing and making a bowl.
