Milk Vases was an After School Club guided by Tessa Silva in July 2023. Students learned how to process waste milk (sourced from a small organic dairy farm in Sussex) into a solid material and cast into individually designed and handmade fabric moulds. The club involved working with a variety of deadstock fabrics, experimenting with natural pigments. These objects have been an intro to art and design as a tool for storytelling and activism.
