Join us for our July After School Club guided by Tessa Silva. Using milk as a natural casting material, you will have the opportunity to design and make a series of vases. Students will learn to process waste milk (sourced from a small organic dairy farm in Sussex) into a solid material and cast into individually designed and handmade fabric moulds. The club will involve working with a variety of deadstock fabrics, experimenting with natural pigments, and learning how to make and handle a unique natural material. This will be an intro to art and design as a tool for storytelling and activism.
