Monday - Friday 10-4pm
This summer we are going to be running two week long summer schools exploring steaming.
The first week will explore steaming of food. We will design and make a custom steamer, make cnc’d moulds, explore food waste and sustainability and explore scents and flavours.
The second week will explore steaming as a process to make seating. Students will explore furniture design, mould making, steam bending techniques and joinery.
Outcomes from both summer schools will be integrated into this year’s Graduate Feast and will be shown at London Design Festival in September.
Steaming a Feast will be run by designers Stine Keinicke and Dom Johnson.
You can reserve a place by emailing school@storeprojects.org with your name, school and which year you are in. These workshops are particularly useful if you are interested in architecture, engineering and food and product design.
